Our thoughts and
prayers go out to the
men and women of our armed forces, and their families here at home.

Our Community... |
|
Stratton is a small community of
423 people located in the southwest corner of Nebraska. The town was
founded in 1879 by C.V.Bailey and was originally named Frontier. In
1882 when the railroad came to the settlement, Mary Stratton donated 80
acres of land for the town site and the name was changed to Stratton.
In 1888 Stratton was incorporated as a village.
Traditional American
values have provided our community with a solid foundation, while a
progressive attitude and outlook has enabled us to change for the future.
Work, family, church, school, and community all have a meaning here.
Our community and its residents work together to make our town "A
Good Place To Grow".
